Any home remedies for this painful problem. Neurontin or other analgesic is needed for any action. Have you consulted a neurologist for this?

Have you tried alpha lipoic acid? They’ve done studies that show that gives some comfort in large doses. You can get 200 mg capsules at Walmart and take a one AM and PM. Give it a couple of weeks, but may help. I took a couple of years of mild neuropathy. If not, you need a prescription for Neurontin or something similar.

I forgot to add that I still take my prescribed medication, although I refused to take the maximum tabs, which is 3, and have remained on 2 tabs a night.

Do some research, speak to others who suffer with Neuropathic pain, u never know..
