Has anyone ever done research with magnets to help with the pain of diabetic neuropathy in the feet?

My father is severely affected by diabetic neuropathy in the feet, and tried various medications. Some days he says to his feet just scream. I was curious if someone did all the research with magnets – or if anyone has ever tried to use magnets as a form of therapy. I know that can help with any conditions and pain relief.

I am a believer in the Nikken magnets. I have the DX as your father and I use the insoles in every pair of shoes I own. Nikken magnets is not a normal polarity magnets are circular polarity. Round polarity that the Earth is also in contact with our cells. Over time, free radicals in our environment add negative ions to our cells. Circular polarity turns around and through the phone and each time it enters the cell creates a positive ion, therefore, “kill” the negative ion. It is important bcuz neuropathy has to do with our nerves and nerve cells do not return but we can stop the disease process neuropathy. Go to Nikken. COM and magsoles look. Better yet, go to ebay that cost less.

As Rae explains in her comment –“not just any magnet.” The polarities must be set specifically to stimulate nerve ending, and blood flow. Nikken is a leader in the science for over 35 years. It has been challenged by many Doctors, and mindset have been changed. Today you will find energy medicine being taught in medical universities. Folks, don’t dismiss a possibility to add to quality of a diabetics life without side effects. Because we don’t understand something doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Too many studies show it does. Either have an open mind, or keep the pain and discomfort. It all comes to a choice. Be blessed with wisdom.

  6. Dr. Michael Weintraub has done a placebo controlled double blind study to see if good magnetic insoles really helped diabetics with peripheral neuropathy. You can read about it on the National Institutes of Health’s PubMed site.
