Hi ,I am a 25 yr diabetic type II > I know from experience being a diabetic, I ‘ve felt the pains of diabetes since 1983.I thought that I was invincible to any illness ,I felt fine.I ignored all the doctors ,the diabetic nurse sand close family and Friends,I thought that I could beat this.As the years passed my health was failing ,I was taking pills , then insulin injections. Prescription drug side affects were becoming more evident everyday. To my complete joy, I met my future father in-law who was a self made Herbalist , who put me on the right path to Diabetic Natural Health Alternatives .In six months I was able to reduce my prescription drug dependency dramatically. You can slow , stop , and reverse the complications of chemically induced drugs the natural way before they stop you. With the help of my wife ,and her father ,I now have better control of my sugar. Even my kidney doctor is pleased , he just says keep up the good work.;but what he does not know is that with diet and exercise alone is not enough.Using Natural Health Alternatives has been my saving grace.Natural Herbs do take a little longer but they work without thw side effects of drugs. They are helping my kidneys to work better, repairing cells which drugs cannot do.the herbs my wife has me on ,have worked well for me and the will you to. you need to take Alpha Lipoic Acid for your nueropathy , 200mg at least once a day ifnot more . It ha helped the stabbing pains that I used to get ,now gone .Fenugreek , bitter melon ,cinnoman ,Gymnea sylvester , GTF chromium are just a few of the herbs that are helping me .For more info you can go to this sight to get what you need like I did .god Bless
Hi I am Diane I an new to the group I have been a diabetic for 15 year (WOW! I feel like I am in a 12 step program)
I had a Doctor tell me to use a cooling cream on my feet on hot tired days (there are several on the market most smell minty) the cool sinsation will help my feet feel better and stimulates blood flow to the area..
So I guess this is not herbal as much as topical.. I do not have any signs of diabetic neuropathy (yippee) and I have cool minty smelling feet .. always a good thing!
also he recommends professional pedicures every 6 weeks.. so my feet get a $20.00 treat and I have claimed it as a medical deduction..
hope it helps!
There is none. If someone tells you an herb is a better treatment than what you are taking (meds) beware. I ended up almost dying and hospialised for 2 weeks. I have tried everything that came down the pike….nothing works. You also need to be careful about what you try… many things will interact with your meds badly.
Good control of your blood sugars/glucose will do wonders to keep the neuropathy from getting worse.
Food management is not as hard as people think.
I’m Type 2 food managed, for almost 3 years.
apple cider vinegar is uposed to help.
