I have read somewhere that Benfotiamine, which is in the Vitamin B family, can help people with neuropathy. You might look into that.
Here’s a couple of websites:http://diabetes.about.com/od/whatsontheh…http://www.islet.org/forum/messages/3987…
Hello
I’m not a DR. but I am trying to live with this dreaded disease (peripheral neuropothy) , and it’s a struggle! I wasn’t diabetic either. There is a little known reason for it,” Inherited neuropathy”. Ask your family. It can also help a lot to take vitamin B-12 shots, magnesium, potassium and calcium. When my DR. checked my blood, I was deficient in all these things. Any one or all can cause your symptoms. Some of these meds can harm you, if you don’t need them ,so please check with your Doctor first. Good luck!!!!!
This is a neurology question. I am sorry that you are suffering with this. I work in a neurology based clinic and I have seen a lot of patients with this. i dont know that it is temporary. you may have good and bad days. This is an illness that is too hard to say. Everyone is different. I would look into some neurology sites to learn more about it. Good luck.
here is a site that might help http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/perip…
There are many possible diseases and injurys of peripheral neauropathy. It depends on how serious your state is. I could’nt tell you what medicine to take, you have to get a subscribed medicne to take by adoctor for you specific criteria. The doctor section you have to go to….well you have to go to a neurologist.
i hope you will be better
